The following steps will help you clear the cache on your mobile Android device. Clearing a mobile browser's cache often resolves unusual behavior on a webpage and forces the browser to pull the most up-to-date information from the site.
There are two different ways you can clear your cache on an Android device. One method clears the cache accrued through a general web browser, and the second relates specifically to the Google Chrome web browser.
Clearing the Cache (standard Android browser)
Navigate to the Apps section on your device and click the Settings option (or select Settings directly from your home screen, if applicable.)
Then, locate the Maintenance section of your Settings.
From here, you can then select Storage.
This section provides information regarding Cached data. Select the prompt to clear the cached data on your device.
Clearing the Cache (Google Chrome)
Navigate to the Google Chrome app on your device and select the 3 vertical dots in the upper right-hand portion of the browser.
Select History from the drop-down menu. Then, click Clear Browsing Data.
Make sure you have both Cookies & site data as well as Cached images & files selected; then, select Clear Data.
