Installing and Activating Jobulator (Android)

This tutorial is a step-by-step walkthrough for installing Jobulator Mobile on your Android device.

Don't have an account? You will need an active Jobulator account to access the Jobulator app once it is downloaded. If you have not yet signed up for a free Jobulator trial, you can do so here.

Jobulator Download

To begin using Jobulator mobile on your Android-powered device, open the Google Play Store on your phone. (This can normally be found in your Apps section.) 

Once in the Play Store, you will search for and select Jobulator Mobile from the results page. This takes you to our Play Store. Select Install to begin the Jobulator installation process.

(The Play Store may request a permission confirmation that allows Jobulator to serve you. If this prompt occurs, choose to “Accept.”) Once the download is complete, you can then press Open.

Jobulator - Activation

If you have downloaded the Jobulator program but do not yet see it open on your device, you can locate it via your Apps section. Once selected, the program will ask you to enter your user information.

You may be prompted to select the country where your school district is located.

There is currently one exception to this standard country code: one Canadian school district is on the US system. If you receive an error and you believe you are typing in the correct information, try selecting a different country.

Enter your User ID (the email address you used to sign up for Jobulator) and your PIN number and tap Sign In. 

Not sure which email address to use?

If you have not already done so, please sign up for a free trial of the service on the Free Trial tab of the Jobulator website, www.jobulator.com. If you have already signed up for a free trial but forget the email address you used to sign up, contact our support team by reaching out to us on our webform. Let us know your name and Absence Management ID/Phone Number. We’d be glad to reply with your User ID / Email address.

As soon as the Email Address and PIN number have been verified, your Jobulator mobile app activates and begins notifying you of available jobs.

Jobulator runs even when it is in the “background.” You can have other apps open, be texting, or even have the screen off, and Jobulator will still notify you of available positions. Exceptions include the following:

  • Your phone is not powered on.
  • You haven’t activated/launched/logged into the Jobulator app.
  • You are using the phone feature (making a call) on your smartphone.
  • You are not connected to the internet (Mobile Network, Wi-Fi).
